Microsoft and United Airlines have signed an agreement to make Zune the inflight music service of the company. While this decision won’t mean a change of the plane hardware will help Zune brand to expand it’s visibility. Seems that the service will come in form of 21 playlist programmed by Zune to choose from on flights including Opera, Classic Rock, Piano Jazz, etc. However, United Airlines has said that it’s looking forward to work with Zune and Microsoft to expand and create new experience onboard. May it mean that we will see Zune interface for music, movie and episodes service in a short time on United Airlines?

After the WindPad 100 Windows 7 tablet, MSI show us the Android tablet at the Computex Today. This time it’s a Tegra 2 powered tablet using a 10″ capacitive screen, running Android 2.1. The outside design beside the WindPad 110 and WindPad 100 are completely different. This time the devices comes with just one USB and has video output capability also. There is no confirmation about this tablet being available any time but some rumours point for a $399 price tag later this year.

Finally we are starting to see some Tablet devices based on Windows 7 beside the HP Slate. This time it’s MSI that show us a Windows 7 tablet with HDMI, 2x USB and webcam. The device is quite light beside what you might think with only 1.7 pounds and it’s HDMI output it’s able to deliver video up to 720p to an HDTV, what converts the tablet into a quiet good portable video player in your travels. The price mark should be around $499 and will be available later this year.

The downcomes of the tablet are a sluggish user interface on top of Windows 7 (you can disable it) and a quiete low resolution (1024×600). We also don’t know what will be the battery life of the device but seems to have 2 cells.

Here we have the video of Engadget about the device:

Maybe Microsoft knows much better what are they talking about, but from our point of view seems a bit unexpected that Windows Phone 7 becomes able to sell 30 million handsets on 2011. However that’s the sentence that their marketing team presented on the REMIX this week at Paris.

We really think would love to see Windows Phone 7 to be succefull but maybe 30 millions… it’s so optimistic. Windows Phone 7 may not work on market as Android did but, if we have to think about how WP7 will perfom on its first year of life, we should need to see how Android did, and looking at this post of Gizmodo, may be a good help to most of us. Android launched and got a “good welcoming”. After that, they gone down units sells but once the platform got more or less mature with good devices on sell with Android 1.6/2.0, the market for Android devices exploded.

Windows Phone 7 may not perform equal than Android on it’s launch, because we have to remember that in the first year of Android, any Snapdragon device was on the market and Windows Phone 7 has required their partners a high profile devices to run. However, the software side will stay immature with the lack of multitasking, copy and paste and an uncertain number of applications to choose around, we can’t expect Windows Phone 7 to be a success from the start. We may look here at a very same movement than Microsoft did with the Xbox, with a first generation to gain market name and a second generation to get a healthy market position. So, maybe we need to wait for the second wave of Windows Phone 7 to see a true market raise, just like many people has claimed for KIN to be a true success.

The device has a characteristic ARM Hummingbird 1Ghz processor that is said to be much more powerfull and faster than the similar clocked Snapdragon. The phone has a nice 4.1″ AMOLED screen as almost any new handset coming from Samsung and the ability to record video at 720p. However, the cam has no flash.

We will look forward to see how the device performs against the actual Snapdragon handsets like the HTC Desire, HTC Evo and the Google Nexus One to see how much powerful it’s the Samsung processor against the Qualcomm design.

Samsung’s Windows Phone 7 Prototype that was shown on MIX this March has been spotted into the REMIX on France again. Despite the fact that this phone it’s not an official Samsung prototype, because the phone itself it’s a hacked Samsung Omnia HD converted into an Spandragonn Windows Phone 7 phone, MobileTechWorld seems to have been able to record a hands on video of the device running a pretty fast WP7 build and an stunning superb ingame video of Twin Blades, ported from XBOX Live.

The developers of the game has told that they took only 2 weeks of an employee to port the game to the Windows Phone 7 marketplace because 90% of the code was re-usable from the XBOX Live version. They also took the time to record a video about the OS itself and most of the hubs. Bing, Bing Maps and IE seems to work flawless and in an awesome way, but we miss to see the rendering times.

Here we have the videos, enjoy them!

It is said to be running the latest in Sense UI on an Android 2.1 base. It’s been dubbed the HTC Aria, it may be the final piece of the puzzle, Verizon have the Droid Incredible, T-Mo have the Nexus-1 and Sprint have the Evo 4G. If you have checked the Google store, the AT&T Nexus isn’t availible, I think something is happening in the works.

So to all you AT&T Android user’s, you can (Probably) expect to see a Snapdragon Qwerty tilt coming yor way soon. Will let you all know (If) when details on pricing and availibilty are released.

According to rumors over at Boy Genius Report, AT&T employees have been told that, yes the iPhone 4G is DEFIANTLY coming in June. And it most likely will be early June, judging from the drastic cuts in price on the 3GS.

This very conveniently coincides with reports that AT&T employees vacations being frozen for the month of June.

The iPhone 4G is expected to be officially unveiled at the WWDC event that starts on June 7. As anticipated, the keynote speaker will be Steve Jobs.

Ok, kids, got your credit cards ready? Who will be grabing some new 4G goodness in the next few weeks?
